Language is defined as the method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way. When one contemplates the few recorded times in history God spoke to humans, what language did He speak and has the message in that language been hidden? Alef – The root of the Covenant – the Silent One. Expressing itself in and through all the other letters saying, “I Am- I Will”. Identity and intention of the Creator is what the ALEF – BET is all about. The Ultimate mystery. The plan – the purpose –  underlying every word – every object – connected with every branch.

Alef will be Tav – completed as intended without lack. Project earth will not end until each letter’s “substance” is fulfilled.

What message does mankind’s original language reveal?

The Architect builds His dwelling place, a house for us to come into and abide in Him, Set-apart from the world outside. Bet is the “house”, “inside”, “body”,”woman”. This follows from “Alef” ,the Almighty, Infinite One, coming from heaven to earth to be finite visible…”The Word became flesh…”

When we accept YHWH’s covenant, our abiding place in Him, we become the vessels wherein the Rauch haKodesh (Set-apart Spirit) abides and writes Torah upon our hearts…

The Gimmel is the Bet in motion, extending out from the Bet. The silent Alef expresses itself in the Bet and the Bet expresses itself in the Gimmel. But the Gimmel also describes the relationship between the Alef and the Bet like an umbilical cord. As the Bet expresses what is going on in the personal zone  (of the mind ) out into the social zone, Gimmel is the aspect of that expression and  an extension of that which will give from its own insides.

The Dalet is a door, a gate. Y’shua said, “I am the door” and “My sheep enter through the gate…”

Those who were defiled would be sprinkled with the ashes of the red heifer, cleansing them and allowing them to enter the courtyard of the temple through the gate.

And so it is that those who are covered by the blood of the covenant, the blood of sey haElohim (Lamb of Eolhim) are declared clean, righteous, and allowed to enter into the Malchut Elohim (Kingdom of Elohim) through Mashiyach – the Dalet, the gate.

There are two voices to the letter Hei. One is passive while the other is dynamic. The Hei can be sound and it can be light. Notice how light waves and sounds waves are drawn the same way.

One voice is like camouflage, a soft whisper. The other voice is like a loud scream. It is YHWH’s perference to speak with these two witnesses.

The Hei is like YHWH painting a bouquet of flowers. Can you appreciate the beauty of how He has chosen to reveal Himself?

The Vav is about making connections; that’s what it represents. It makes the connection between two sides.

Think of a road that leads up to a moat around a castle. The draw bridge connects you to the castle. Those who come to take the castle by force seek another way of entry.

Those who approach the castle according to the proper instructions are allowed to enter. The Torah (YHWH’s instructions in righteousness) is the draw bridge.

The two voices of the Shabbat are “to relax”, but “be vigilant” about relaxing. The casual break is to stop and think about it – taking a Shabbat is a Selah. You have momentum then you come to a stop. Stop and think about it.

That’s what the letter Zayin is about. It’s drawn as an ax, something that cuts, that separates something from the rest. So the seventh day was specifically cut-off by YHWH from the other six days.

If you just sat back in your garden on Shabbat, and casually fell asleep in the sun, you would be keeping the commandment.

Selah means to stop think contemplate, consider, ponder, meditate, regard… In the Psalms we read along and suddenly, there is the word, “Selah”. It is at this point that we stop and contemplate, think about, and consider what we have just read (sung).

So we come to the Selah in the course of studying the Paleo Hebrew to consider and contemplate what we have been learning. We couple this with learning to use the Etymological Dictionary of the Hebrew Language (Ernest Klein).
